Overview:

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will help lead and define, shape and implement scalable software solutions for our Cyber Security platform. You’ll work with our engineering teams to ensure we are providing the best value to our customers’ product portfolio. The work is frenetic but has a tremendous impact on our customers and the security market as a whole.


We are looking for individuals that are driven, proactive, thorough and forward looking.  You have at your fingertips a mastery of several software frameworks and deployment technologies.  You love creating exceptional user experiences especially for large complex data sets.  You are highly proficient in the frontend and have some backend coding skills, many would call you a master of the frontend.  You have a history of leading, helping drive a team, and are capable of quickly learning new technologies.


Responsibilities of the Role:


  • Build for scalability, testability, supportability and maintainability
  • Work closely with the UX/UI team to turn wireframes and visual designs into compelling user-facing products.
  • Work with other technical leads, engineers, designers, business analysts, and operations teams to develop our customer facing  web application and data pipeline.
  • Drive the definition, break down,  and prioritization of work in partnership with a team


What’s Required:


  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or commensurate practical experience
  • 6+ years of work experience in JavaScript front-end frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.  Strong preference for React/Typescript passionate experts.
  • 4+ years of experience in modern programming language (Go, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby)
  • Strong JavaScript expertise, including concepts like promises, closures, and ES6/ES7 features.
  • Highly competent with HTML & CSS development and advanced techniques
  • Familiarity with building component libraries and making products accessible
  • Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds.
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with large data sets and optimizing data ingestion and processing 
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable SaaS based solutions
  • Adaptability to changing directions and requirements


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Expertise with Docker/Kubernetes in cloud computing platforms
  • Expertise with TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Expertise with at least one front-end framework/library such as Vue.js, React, or Angular, preferably React
  • Expertise with Python and at least one general programming language (C/C++, Golang, Java, etc.)
  • Experience in the designs and implementations of SaaS platforms
  • Experience working with product and design leaders to breakdown work
  • Experience with SDK, API, and integration development
  • Experience with agile development and technical leadership
